Katja Schwarz leads the press office of the Odeon Film Inc. Furthermore, she is the Online- and IR Chief Editor. Besides regularly updating the internet presence of the group, she is also responsible for the layout and the editing of corporate reports, as well as publications regarding corporate law and productions. As representative for Sustainability, Katja Schwarz is in-charge for the development of a company culture which combines equally, economical, social and environmentally friendly aspects.
After a one-year stay in England and Italy, Katja Schwarz studied Slavic philology, English studies and philosophy at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. During her studies, she also spent six months in Russia and gained her fist film experience for the realization of a documentary. After graduating from college, she started as a production assistant. Then in 1996, she came to the present Odeon Film Inc.
